The 1/2″ plywood parts are glued in pairs: Then the maple is glued on flush with the end. These are clamped together in two pieces and set aside to dry for a few hours. When the glue has set, the parts are clamped together as shown in the picture above (right) and a 5/8″ hole is drilled through from both sides.

Building Belt Grinder With a Stand DIY End of work with belt sander with stand. I decided to have a mobile grinder because I have too small a garage to have it permanently attached to the table. I hid the inverter in the back of the stand and built it so that it would not drag the abrasive with the metal. I hope it will be good. Time will tell.

Many tm motors are open framed, meaning there's a high likely hood of failure due to grinding dust shorting them out. I'd get a $100 Chinese vfd (also open framed, but easier to keep dust out of) and you could probably find a used 3 phase TEFC motor for $50 to $100 or just get an ironhorse brand for about $175-$200.
